Open source by default
I enjoy building applications that scratch an itch in my own day-to-day, and open-sourcing them so they can help others. When I'm not shipping code, I'm tinkering with my Arch config, or playing sysadmin on my home server.
One beer to rule them all
Beer is my drink of choice, and I'm picky about it. My family have made their living from it for the last 30 years and there's a clear winner: HEINEKEN!. With that being said, variety is the spice of life and I'll happily try anything new, but the rotation I keep coming back to is short.
Off-grid activities
When the weather's right, you can find me off-grid with family and friends, beer and braai tongs in hand. I have a few spots around Cape Town that I frequent. A recent trip to Lesotho with my dad turned me into a Land Rover Defender lover. Although Land Rovers have been in my family's blood for easily over half a century, I'm sure this will kickstart overlanding adventures.
