The problem
We’ve all been there, whether it’s a fancy dinner with friends or takeaway lunch with coworkers, it always ends the same. Passing the bill around and waiting your turn to calculate your total plus tip. It might even do a few rounds if the tip is too low. It’s painful and honestly archaic.
The solution
OpenTab makes this process seamless: one person snaps a photo of the bill and shares a link. Each person or couple opens the link, enters a name, and begins marking off their items. Once done, they select a tip or edit their total and move to the final screen — a live breakdown of what everyone owes and the running total.
